The Scottish Storytelling Centre, Netherbow Theatre
The alteration of the former Netherbow Arts Centre and restoration work to John Knox House to celebrate and continue Scotland's rich traditions of storytelling. New facilities include combined reception area for museum tours and performances, cafè, theatre and performance areas, conference room and offices together with a bell tower for the City Bell of Edinburgh. Major awards from The Church of Scotland and The Scottish Arts Council funded the project with additional funding from The City of Edinburgh Council, SEEL and many other charitable trusts and individuals.
